On the boat today, I did only a small amount of work. Mainly I had a short sleep, read the paper and drank some coffee. This shot looks toward the galley (kitchen) and on the cooker top you can see a kettle for boiling water and a coffee percolator. Bought for me by my father, the coffee perc is just the thing for making great coffee...and making the boat smell fabulous. The best smells in the morning on a boat are freshly brewed coffee, and the smell of fresh bread cooking in the oven.
Bliss!

While I was visiting the boat today, I realised it has been some time since I checked the bed in the aft stateroom. Guess what...it still works! Just 2 minutes after lying down, I was fast asleep and remained that way for about 90 minutes.
I went down to Cullen Bay to check my boat today. I had not been since my surgery as I couldn't climb up on to the deck. But now I am almost 100% again. I was happy to be back there.
